Faculty Animation Design

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Animation Communication Design Faculty to join our Academic team at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in 2D and 3D Animation, Design and Animation Production, while mentoring students and helping them develop the technical, creative and professional skills required for careers in the animation and media industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of animation production workflows, practical knowledge of both 2D and 3D animation, and the ability to translate industry practices into an engaging classroom learning experience. Strong passion and understanding of AI tools and research in the relevant field is a must. We are looking for someone who is not only technically competent but also passionate about teaching new trends, approachable, inspiring and capable of motivating students to pursue careers in the creative industry. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective classroom and practical sessions in 2D and 3D Animation and Design. Teach students the fundamentals as well as advanced concepts related to animation and visual storytelling. Provide students with practical exposure to 2D and 3D animation production workflows. Guide students through assignments, projects, portfolio development and production-oriented exercises. Mentor students and provide constructive feedback to improve their creative and technical skills. Develop and deliver lessons in line with the prescribed academic curriculum and learning outcomes. Prepare assignments, assessments, practical exercises and project briefs. Evaluate student performance through assignments, examinations, projects and practical assessments. Maintain appropriate academic documentation, including attendance, assessment records and student progress reports. Support curriculum implementation and contribute to improving course content based on industry requirements. Participate in academic activities, workshops, seminars, student reviews and other institutional initiatives. Coordinate with other faculty members and academic teams to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum. Be willing to travel to other Toonz locations or partner institutions to conduct academic sessions, workshops and training programs when required
