Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee and manage our service projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing service projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Initiation
Lead the planning and initiation phase of service projects, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, resource requirements, and milestones.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Resource Management
Allocate resources efficiently to ensure project tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to secure the necessary resources for project execution.
Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to optimize project performance.
Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
Risk Management
Proactively identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
Develop risk mitigation plans and strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Monitor project progress and promptly address any emerging risks or issues to keep the project on track.
Quality Assurance
Establish quality standards and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular quality assessments and inspections to verify that project deliverables meet quality requirements.
Implement corrective actions as necessary to address quality issues and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Project Execution and Monitoring
Oversee project execution activities to ensure tasks are completed according to the project plan and schedule.
Monitor project performance metrics, such as budget adherence, timeline compliance, and resource utilization.
Implement project tracking mechanisms to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Closure and Evaluation
Coordinate project closure activities, including documentation, handover, and stakeholder sign-off.
Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project performance, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements for future projects.
Prepare and present project reports and summaries to management and other stakeholders.
