A Civil Site Engineer at Jehovah Nissi Design Build Pvt. Ltd. focuses on day-to-day execution, material handling, labor management, and quality control directly on the construction site. Unlike the higher-level strategy handled by a site manager, the site engineer oversees immediate, technical field operations to ensure the structural integrity of the project matches the blueprint specifications.
Core Job Responsibilities
Blueprint Execution Interpret engineering plans, 2D/3D layouts, and structural drawings to mark alignments and guide the workforce on-site.
Daily Supervision Monitor day-to-day civil construction work, concrete mixing, reinforcement placements, and brickwork to maintain engineering standards.
Material Quality Checks Inspect incoming construction raw materials (cement, steel, aggregates) for quality compliance before use.
Vendor and Labor Tracking Coordinate daily tasks for foremen, labor crews, and subcontractors to meet specific physical targets.
Reporting Document daily site logs, track material consumption, and draft progress reports for the branch or project manager.
